My mac and cheese balls are super cheesy and absolute favourite with the kids. These work great with left over mac and cheese.
Sometimes I just want a very simple roast that requires minimum effort but still tastes amazing. And when that happens this is the recipe I always go to. Simple, succulent chicken served with nutty and rich gravy, what a combination!
When you think about fried chicken, you think of crispy, juicy and perfectly seasoned chicken. This recipe is exactly all of that and more. With this recipe, you will have better than KFC fried chicken at the comfort of your own home.
Red velvet pancakes scream Valentine’s. And Valentine’s is round the corner. Make these yummy fluffy red velvet pancakes and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a cream cheese frosting. So delicious!
Who doesn’t like a barbecue? That char flavour on the meat is just heavenly. However, sometimes you just don’t have the energy to fire up the jiko and that’s when my recipe comes in handy. This barbecue pork fried rice was a favourite at my dinner table. The pork was so good that my husband ate a lot of the barbecue pork by itself. If you like, feel free to pull the meat apart, add some more barbecue sauce and enjoy it in a sandwich.
It’s funny how adding pineapple to any rice gives it a Hawaiian feel to it, however, this Hawaiian Rice is not only about adding pineapple. It’s got coconut milk giving it that sense of the coastal atmosphere, a crunch from the cashew nuts, freshness from the grated carrots, saltiness from the bacon and aroma from the different spices. This dish is a great twist to ordinary fried rice.
An old but favourite recipe! This Cajun Chicken, while not very authentic, celebrates the lovely flavours of the Cajun Cuisine. You can easily get Cajun spice in super markets nowadays, but I love to make my own combination at home. It’s just so easy to make. Serve this dish with steamed Basmati or Aromatic rice.
