Festive cookies all day, any day.. because, why not? I absolutely love these cookies that are great for baking with the children. Simple ingredients and pretty much fail proof.
1/4 cup butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup Nuteez Smooth Peanut Butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup milk
In a bowl, beat together butter and peanut butter until light and fluffy. Add the sugar and beat again until it is all combined together.
Add the flour and milk and mix again. Take the dough out on a work surface and use your hands to lightly knead and bring the dough together.
Once it has come together, cover it with cling film and chill in the refrigerator or 30 minutes. Take the dough out and use a rolling pin to roll it to a thickness of approximately 1 cm.
Use a round cookie cutter or any cutter of your preferred shape to cut out cookies from the dough. Repeat with the rest. Transfer the cookies to a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over it and the bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 8-10 minutes. Cool completely before taking them out of the baking tray and serving.
