How to Cook the Perfect Rice
It may seem like the most basic thing in the kitchen to know how to cook rice, yet most people get it wrong. In this recipe, I show you in detail how to cook the perfect rice.
1 1/2 cups Daawat Basmati Rice
3 cups water
Wash the rice in running water until the water runs clear. Soak in water for 20 minutes.
Add the rice and 3 cups water in a pot. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat, cover the pot with a lid and let simmer for 12-14 minutes.
Fluff with a fork and serve.
