Chili Garlic Bread
Adding some minced green chili into garlic butter and smothering it over some fresh baguette/ciabatta bread and finally grilling it makes the perfect home made starter. This chili garlic bread makes a great pairing with warm minestrone soup.
Ingredients
1 long baguette, sliced 1 inch thick
4-5 cloves of garlic
1-2 green chilies, minced
3-4 tbsp butter, at room temperature
Salt to taste
Instructions

In a pestle and mortar, mince the garlic.

Add salt, minced green chilies and butter and mix together.

Spread a thin layer of the chili garlic butter onto the sliced bread and grill for 45 seconds- 1 minute on each side or until crispy and lightly toasted.
