You often eat this Chinese style special chicken and cashew nut with a fried rice at most Chinese restaurants around. My dish involves making the most fragrant chili oil that sets the base for the whole dish. I like to have the chili oil with dumplings and with all other Chinese dishes. The cashewnuts in this dish also give it a really nice crunch, but the whole dish just comes together really well with the spice, spring onions, crispy fried chicken and a thick sauce that is to die for.
Fried rice is my favourite meal to make when I have left over rice and some fish in the freezer. I love the simplicity of this recipe and love the flavours of the fish with rice. And best of everything, it takes under 15 minutes to make.
Not a fan of chicken wings? Get out of here! No, but seriously, how can you not like chicken wings? Especially these spicy but sweet perfect wings in a soy based sauce served with steamed rice. Yummy yummy in my tummy!
Chilli paneer on its own is so delicious, so why not pair it up with Spaghetti to make a yummy Chilli Paneer Spaghetti. Paneer is a type of firm cheese (cottage cheese) that takes on the flavour of the gravy/sauce very well and that’s why it works really well for this dish.
This Asian inspired pork rice is great for quick dinners and is so full of flavour. Hearty and delicious! It can also be made using chicken instead of pork or if you are vegetarian, substitute for some soaked soya chunks for that meatiness.
Flavourful Asian style sticky chicken wings coated in a ketchup based sauce, cooked perfectly in the oven and basted for that extra depth of flavour and then served on a sweet corn rice. This is the perfect recipe for a quick dinner!
Who doesn’t like a chicken and egg fried rice? That flavour of the wok along with a dish of chicken schezwan or kung pao chicken is to die for.
