Simple Crepes

Crepes are really one of the simplest breakfast items to make and that’s why they are the perfect things to make for Mother’s Day for that special woman in everyone’s lives. These 20 mins simple crepes go well with a spread of peanut butter or chocolate spread, strawberries, banana or even just a drizzle of honey.

Simple-Crepes

Ingredients

1 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
4 tbsp melted butter
Some more melted butter for greasing the pan
Nuteez Smooth Peanut Butter Spread
Strawberries and bananas for serving

Instructions

Add all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk until fully combined.

Sieve the mixture so there are no lumps in the mixture and let rest for 15 minutes.

Heat a pan over a medium flame, and add 1/2 tsp melted butter. Spread it across the pan using a tissue paper so it is evenly greased.

Scoop 1/4 cup of the mix into the pan and swirl the pan around so the mixture spreads across the pan evenly.

Cook for for 2 minutes and then flip it around and cook for another 30 seconds.

Take out the crepe, spread a layer of peanut butter, top with strawberries and bananas, fold the crepes and serve with a garnish of strawberries and a sprinkle of icing sugar.
