Mutton Kebabs in a Maize Meal Coating

Mutton kebabs coated in maize meal and fried are the best party snack ever. Most families have their version of a kebab family recipe, but this one here is special. It gets crispy on the outside and super delicious on the inside.

Mutton kebabs coated in maize meal and fried are the best party snack ever. Most families have their version of a kebab family recipe, but this one here is special. It gets crispy on the outside and super delicious on the inside.
Mutton-Kebab

Ingredients

400 gms mutton, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 cup coriander leaves, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tbsp curry powder
Salt to taste
1 egg, beaten
1 cup Unga wa Dola Maize Meal
Oil, for deep frying

Instructions

In a bowl, mix together minced meat, onions, garlic, ginger paste, coriander leaves, curry powder and salt. Take some of the mixture in your palm and press it lengthwise so it becomes long and thin.

Dip the meat kebab in the eggs and then roll in the maize meal.

Deep fry for 10-12 minutes or until brown. Take out on a paper towel to drain excess oil and serve.
