
Liver with Lemon Coriander Rice
The secret to the perfect liver is not to over cook it. This recipe makes the most delicious liver which I serve with a coriander rice that has a hint of lemon. What a combination!

Ingredients
For the Liver:
3 tbsp oil
1 large onion, chopped
500gms liver
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1 tsp green chillies, chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt
Pepper
Fried potatoes
Coriander leaves
For the rice:
2 cups Daawat Aromatic Rice, cooked
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp cumin seeds
2 tbsp lemon juice
Salt
Coriander leaves
Instructions

Heat oil in a pot and add the onions. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until the onions become translucent.

Add the liver, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, cumin powder, green chilies and salt and stir. Cook for 7-10 minutes.

Toss the fried potatoes and coriander leaves in it and set aside.

For the rice: Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds. Once they look crisp and nicely fried, add the lemon juice, rice, salt and coriander leaves and stir until well combined.

Serve lemon coriander rice with liver.
