Grilled Mutton Burger with a Peanut Butter Sauce
A burger isn’t a good burger without a delicious sauce. My peanut butter sauce on a grilled mutton patty is the perfect flavour combination for your burger party.
For the patty:
500 gms minced mutton
Freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp oil, for cooking
A slice of cheddar cheese
For the sauce:
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp ginger, minced
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tbsp Nuteez Crunchy Peanut Butter
1 tbsp vinegar
4 tbsp water
1 tsp paprika
Take a fist full of the meat in your palms and lightly press into a ball. Flatten it out using your palms. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat a griddle and add some oil. Lay the meat patty on the hot griddle. Cook for 5-8 minutes and then flip it around. Add a layer of cheese on the patty and cook for another 3-5 minutes. Set aside.
For the Nuteez peanut butter sauce: heat oil in a sauce pan and add ginger and garlic. Lightly toss and then add the peanut butter, vinegar, paprika and water. Stir until the sauce comes together. This should only take 1-2 minutes.
To assemble the burger: Slice the burger buns into half and toast them on a flat pan with some oil. Add a layer of chopped lettuce and top it with the patty. Layer some sliced onions and pour the peanut butter sauce over it. Top with the other half of the burger bun and serve with a side of crispy fries.
