How to cook the perfect Oatmeal Porridge
This oatmeal porridge recipe is my go to recipe for breakfast for my little one and myself. I absolutely love a bowl of oatmeal with a heaped serving of fresh fruit to keep me going through the day.
800 ml water
190 gms NuVita porridge Oats
1 cup milk
3 tbsp sugar
Fresh berries and sliced bananas, to serve
Boil water in a pot. Add the oats and stir. Let cook for 2 1/2 to 5 minutes. Turn off the flame, cover the pot with a lid and let sit for 5 minutes covered.
Add the milk and sugar and stir. Cook for another 1 minute or until the sugar has dissolved.
Serve with fresh berries and bananas or any other toppings of your choice.
