Chicken Bhajia

They are the perfect starter or snack to have for those dinner parties and you won’t believe just how simple they are to make.

Chicken-Bhajia

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts, cut into cubes
1/2 cup gram flour
1 tsp ginger, minced
1 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp green chillies, chopped
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3/4 cups water
1/2 cup Daawat Basmati Rice, cooked
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
Oil, for deep frying

Instructions

Blend together rice, gram flour, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chillies, turmeric powder, salt and water in a blender until it is all combined.

In a bowl, mix together the chicken, blended paste and coriander leaves and mix well.

Drop the coated chicken into hot oil one at a time and let fry for 5 to 6 minutes. Take the chicken out on a paper towel to drain excess oil and then serve with a your favourite sauce.
