Ingredients

1/3 cup Daawat Brown Rice, washed
1 cup water
1/4 cup milk, or breast milk
1 cup sweet banana, chopped
1/4 cup mixed berries, I used raspberries and strawberries
1/4 cup water
Sprinkle of cinnamon powder

Instructions

1
To make the rice: Blend the brown rice with 2 tbsp of water until finely ground.
2
Boil it with 1 cup of water for 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and thick.
3
Add milk and cook for another 5 minutes. If you are using breast milk, once the rice is cooked, stir in the breast milk but don't cook it. Set aside.
4
Blend the bananas, berries and water until smooth.
5
Serve the rice with banana berry sauce and a sprinkle of cinnamon powder. You can adjust the consistency of the food depending on the baby's age.
